Dear Hector Community, I am honored and excited to be provided the opportunity to serve as the Superintendent of Hector Public Schools. As a dedicated educator beginning my 18th year in education, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our students and community. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities, including as a middle and high school English teacher, elementary, middle, and high school counselor, district curriculum and technology administrator, interim assistant principal, and principal. Additionally, I am currently a Professor of Education at Arkansas Tech University, where I mentor and guide future school counseling, curriculum, and teacher leaders. I can truly say that Hector's school community is top-notch. The dedication of our teachers, support staff, and administrators is exceptional. The district has much to be thankful for and proud of with regard to being part of Hector Public Schools. Moreover, our five-member school board is a step above the rest, with their main focus and priority being the safety, well-being, and education of all students. I look forward to great days and years ahead and to working with the entire Hector community. Together, we will continue to build on our successes and strive for excellence in all that we do.
